Let’s be honest, the chill of March has caught us all a little by surprise in the UK. Some of us were fairly hopeful that come the official first week of the spring the temperature would decide to raise itself slightly above 2 degrees. So elongated did this period of cold weather, occasional downpours and swirling snow seem to be, that even our General Manager Jean-Luc, who still undoubtedly has French Blood running through his veins, began to get express some despair and occasionally moan. A new hat is born
In September 2012 we rather unintentionally left the sample of a new hat we were working on next to the till display area. We noticed this when a customer first commented ‘Oh that’s a great looking Hat, how much is that one? Do you have a few other colours?’ For the next 2-3 weeks we found ourselves having to regularly apologise to you, our wonderful customers, that this style was not currently for sale and would not be arriving for a number of weeks. You, yourself may have been witness to the line ‘I’m sorry, but we need the sample to work from, we can’t sell that one. The collection will be available in the spring.’ Read more
Our new colour for 2013 – Nogal
In 2012 we tried something new and daring; something which had not been tried in men’s headwear for a long time. We introduced Lilac into our colour range. Some may have said this was, well a somewhat interesting decision; some said it may be a ground breaking move.
